Sick of sneaky bills!
Man am I sick of companies who do the sneaky monthly billing thing. I went to emode.com and bought one of their IQ things for 14.95. 3 months later I noticed they were billing me monthly. They never told me they were going to do that. I know, I know...not much of an IQ, ha ha ha, what a barrel of laughs. But c'mon, what the HELL! Has anyone else had an experience like this? What kind of letter did you write the company? Did it make a difference? Maybe someone else could use it as a template to write to some. Let's get the ball rolling on this, if enough of us fight back maybe we can stop this onslaught of nightmarish shady billing practices. Is the practice of sneaking in monthly billing even legal? Aren't we supposed to sign our initials somewhere so that we know that these jerks are going to rip us off every month?!
